The CLFP Advantage

The following post is a guest blog by our partner company, AP Equipment Financing, which provides fast, flexible financing for all your business needs, including Point of Rental software.

Did you know there is an independent designation for finance and lease professionals that essentially sets the bar for the best in the Equipment Finance Industry? This designation can only be gained through an extremely arduous test of knowledge that exams the participant in items such as: finance and lease best practices, credit analysis and underwriting, U.S. finance regulations and laws, and many other criteria.

This title is known as the Certified Lease and Finance Professional designation and is becoming the industry standard for equipment finance professionals who excel amongst their peers and colleagues. With over 30 years in existence there are currently only 485 people in the U.S. that have passed this exam.

Did you also know that about 40% of AP Equipment Financing’s staff has attained this designation, and our very own Mike Arness has been a CLFP for 18 years?
