Point of Rental’s South African and Australian offices announced progression in a pair of partnerships this May.
In Australia, we started work toward the second stage of our partnership with Children’s Ground, a program that works to celebrate and uplift First Nations knowledge, create equity and access to high-quality education, health, and economy in community for the next generation of children.
In addition to donating a portion of all APAC sales throughout the year, Point of Rental’s Australian team will soon be working directly with Children’s Ground staff and students to mentor and guide them through their future growth.
APAC Managing Director Dave Cameron talked about the partnership just before heading to HIRE23:
Meanwhile, on 6 May in South Africa, Pointers went on their first brick-building visit for Door of Hope. Door of Hope is a local organisation that provides care for abandoned children. They’re looking to expand their operations by building 70 houses for abandoned children that can’t be (or aren’t) adopted, giving them a chance to start adulthood on the right track.
Each brick-making session produces roughly 400 bricks, which is nearly 1/10 of what’s required for a single house; the project is expected to take several years, but our South African team is looking forward to being a part of the progress.
If you’d like to help Door of Hope and the South African team build more houses – via donation or by helping build bricks – contact our South African office for corporate donations. and visit here to donate individually (South Africa | International).
Whether it’s figuratively or literally, we look forward to working with you as Point the Way and Point of Rental help build brighter futures.
