Who’s Our Most Innovative Customer of 2018?

Our customers are always achieving great things in the rental industry. We want to honor the people that push our software to become greater by coming up with new ways to make it work for them. That’s why we’re asking you to tell us about your breakthroughs: We’re now taking entries for our 2018 International Innovation Award!

The contest is open to all Point of Rental customers and winners will be announced at the 2018 International Conference*. Winners will receive a $500 Visa gift card! We’ll also write a press release detailing your innovation discussing what fantastic, innovative folks you are.

Here’s how you do it:

  1. Open up the entry form.
  2. Enter your contact information and what product you’re using.
  3. Tell us about a time you solved a problem in your business with the help of Point of Rental!

You get to choose what you’d like to base your entry on. It can be a single event where you overcame a lot of obstacles to pull it off, or it can be a feature you’ve implemented in the past year and used it to revolutionize processes. To make it easier to understand what we’re looking for, here’s a sample entry (although the judging committee certainly appreciates more detail being included).

What problem did you have?

We were managing our deliveries using a regular maps application and trying to figure out the most efficient route by looking at the map. This was taking a lot of time and we weren’t as efficient as we needed to be.

How did you use Point of Rental software to help you solve it?

We added Point of Rental’s Dispatch Center and Mobile Workforce applications to our system and upon implementation, it helped plan routes efficiently and based on truck loads, enabling us to not only make trips as quick as possible, but ensuring we’re not overpacking trucks or wasting a trip. Drivers are able to connect information on pickups and deliveries in real time, which keeps our dispatcher on top of things without having to be connected to the phone.

How has that solution impacted your business?

Our implementation of Dispatch Center and Mobile Workforce has cut our fuel costs by ________ and saved us _______ hours on the road in a truck. We’ve been able to more accurately estimate arrival times, keeping customers happy, and we’ve eliminated jobs that had previously slipped through the cracks literally in paper shuffles. As we grow with the software, we find more features it has that, when implemented, have continued to save us more time and money.
